I was thrilled to have the opportunity to review the cookbook titled 5 Ingredient Fix by Claire Robinson. Most of us have likely seen her cooking show on the Food Network. Her recipes may only have five simple ingredients, but the results are far from plain.
The dessert section is probably my favourite part of the book. Chai Spiced S'mores, Mocha Meringue Bark, White Chocolate Mousse, Bananas Foster, Poached Pears with Creamy Pecan Sauce ... to name just a few. The pictures look like expensive specialties from an elegant restaurant, but they can easily be made at home.
I love cookbooks and have quite an extensive collection, but this one has already earned a spot as one of my all-time favourites.
Disclosure: I received a complimentary copy of 5 Ingredient Fix from Hachette Books, in exchange for my honest review.
