A Thousand Tomorrows/Just Beyond the Clouds by Karen Kingsbury
In Just Beyond the Clouds, Cody is nursing a broken heart over the death of the love of his life, when he meets Elle Dalton, Carl Joseph's teacher. Cody can't bear the thought of losing his little brother, too, so when Elle begins championing Carl Joseph's independence, she finds herself at odds with Cody. But even while they battle it out, they can't deny the instinctive connection they share, and Cody faces a crisis of the heart. What if Elle is the one woman who can teach Cody that love is still possible?
In the brand-new omnibus edition, Karen Kingsbury's continuing story of devotion, tragedy, and renewal, comes to life, teaching that while love often causes the heart to break, it's also the only thing that can mend it again.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
KAREN KINGSBURY is America's favorite inspirational storyteller. She is the author of the #1 bestselling Reunion and more than thirty other emotionally gripping novels, many of which have been adapted for film and television. Previously a staff writer for the Los Angeles Times and a People magazine contributor, Karen lives with her husband and six children in the Pacific Northwest.
If you love a story about rodeo cowboys, barrel-racers and young love, then you will likely love this wonderful omnibus. The two continuing stories in this book are full of lovable characters that will grab your heart when you read about all the bumps they encounter along their journey.
In typical Karen Kingsbury style, the characters become close as friends, and you will laugh and cry along with them. Heartbreak, growing pains, and every human emotion you can imagine make this an unforgettable book that I will definitely add to my list of all-time favourites.
But ... I am a sucker for a good story about cowboys and their women, and it can't get any better than this!
