The Ultimate Gift and The Ultimate Life by Jim Stovall

What would you do to inherit a million dollars? Would you be willing to change your life? Jason Stevens is about to find out in Jim Stovall's The Ultimate Gift. Red Stevens has died, and the older members of his family receive their millions with greedy anticipation. But a different fate awaits young Jason, whom Stevens, his great-uncle, believes may be the last vestige of hope in the family. "Although to date your life seems to be a sorry excuse for anything I would call promising, there does seem to be a spark of something in you that I hope we can fan into a flame. For that reason, I am not making you an instant millionaire." What Stevens does give Jason leads to The Ultimate Gift. Young and old will take this timeless tale to heart.

A profound follow-up to the bestselling book and major motion picture, The Ultimate Gift. When Jason Stevens found out he had to jump through hoops to maybe get an unnamed inheritance from his billionaire grandfather, he was not amused. By the time he'd finished learning the lessons he'd become a different man. Ready to tackle the duties of running a multi-billion dollar trust, he is once again derailed, this time by his pugnacious family. Not content with their cattle ranches and oil fields, his aunts, uncles, and even his parents are determined to see every last dime entrusted to their own self-serving pockets.

With none of the reluctance he initially showed for the Gift, he eagerly accepts the challenge and pushes himself to prove not only to his family and the court but also to the world, that with determination and the simple tenets of the Gift, anyone can lead The Ultimate Life.

These books are not new releases by any means, but I love discovering old treasures!

I may be one of the last on this planet who has never heard of "The Ultimate Series" and movie by Jim Stovall.  When I saw the book description on Amazon, I just had to check it out, and I am so glad I did.

I won't bore you with details as the Amazon book descriptions above tell the story beautifully.  There must be thousands of reviews on these books and the movie over the past few years.

I will, however, tell you that I was brought to tears several times.  I was personally challenged and inspired to make some ultimate changes in my life.  These books are going at the top of my list of all time favourites!

If you are like me, and have never read these books ... get them. You won't be sorry, I promise.

Now I'm off to find a copy of the movie, and I can't wait to see it.

Disclosure: I purchased these two ebooks through Amazon.com.  I was not compensated for my thoughts.
