Four best friends living in a small town called Smitten are smitten with the concept of love. When the local mill shuts down, their community is desperate to find a new source of income, or the town will disappear.
Together, the four young women come up with an unusual plan to turn their town into a honeymoon resort. They intend to cater to anyone in love, and they need all hands on deck to make their plan work. Little do they realize it, but their own lives will be touched by romance.
I really enjoyed the unusual format of this novel. Four great authors each write a quarter of the book, individually focusing on one of the four characters in the story. Each of the stories is intertwined, but the four sections give a deeper insight into each of the four best friends.
For a really fun read with a strong thread of faith and hope, I highly recommend Smitten.
