Manage Your Problems, Big and Small, Every Day
Inspiring Chicken Soup for the Soul stories and accessible leading-edge medical information from Dr. Jeff Brown of Harvard Medical School. We all have stress in our lives. What differentiates us is how we handle it. The combination of these stories, from people who have learned how to manage stress, and Dr. Brown's practical advice, will have you wondering what you were worried about! Who knew there were so many easy ways to manage your stress?
Say Goodbye to Stress is a very different type of Chicken Soup for the Soul book. First of all, it is about half the size of the normal Chicken Soup series. Needless to say, it was a very quick read.
Stop Being Your Own Worst Enemy, Triumph Over Tragedy, Killer Jobs--Stress and the Workplace, Home is Where the Heat Is, Preventing Monetary Meltdown, Emotions and Thoughts, Mind Your Stress, and De-stress Your Lifestyle are the eight main chapter headings. Each of these topics begins with three or four individual stories in the typical "Chicken Soup" style.
At the end of each section, there is expert advice on how to apply stress-relieving methods to our lives. Some of it is the standard advice that we have all heard before, but also some different, yet simple and effective, ways to manage and eliminate stress.
This smaller format with medical advice included is a refreshing change from the traditional Chicken Soup books, and I really enjoyed this one. I am very interested in checking out other books in this medical series including Think Positive for Great Health, Boost Your Brain Power, Say Goodbye to Back Pain, and Say Hello to a Better Body.
