Who am I?
I'm an original Alberta gal, born and raised on the Western Canadian prairies, and have never lived anywhere else. I have been promoted to grandmother of many, baker of cookies, and lover of cuddles and giggles. In my spare time, and when the little ones are busy doing something else, I can often be found buried in a great book. I have recently become fascinated with the concept of minimalism and the Tiny House movement.
Due to a terminal illness in my immediate family, I had to make some drastic life changes for an extended length of time. Unfortunately, one of the things that I had to give up during this time was reading. Consequently, this blog has been untouched for quite some time, but has been reactivated with determination and excitement in late June 2017.
Along the Way is a personal blog written and edited by me. I do not accept any form of advertising, sponsorship, or paid insertions. I write for my own purposes. However, I may be influenced by my background, occupation, religion, political affiliation or experience.
I am not compensated to provide opinion on products, services, websites and various other topics. The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely mine. If I claim or appear to be an expert on a certain topic or product or service area, I will only endorse products or services that I believe, based on my expertise, are worthy of such endorsement. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer or provider.
I am passionate about reading and absolutely love discovering new authors. My preferred book review genres are Christian and inspirational, both fiction and non-fiction. I love my Kindle, and preference is given to reading all books in this format.
Please contact me by email at alongtheway at telus dot net if you have any titles that would be a good fit here on Along the Way.
